Hi, I'm Martin
I'm a photographer based in Oxford, capturing natural moments and genuine connections. My approach is relaxed and documentary-inspired – focusing on the emotions, interactions and small details that make every story unique.
I started my photography journey in 2019, back then on an old film camera – and that's still what defines my style today.
I shoot individual sessions, couples, graduations and weddings around Oxford and Berlin, where I'm originally from. I also love photographing while travelling, and I'm open to travel work.

How I work
I’ll guide you when it’s useful, but I won’t over-direct. Most of the time I’m watching, responding, and letting things happen naturally.
Working together
The shoot is a collaboration. I pay attention to how you move and interact, and I adapt as we go rather than forcing a set idea.
No posing experience needed
You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. I’m not looking for perfection – just what feels natural to you.
A relaxed atmosphere
I try to keep things calm and not rushed. The more comfortable you feel, the more the images start to make sense on their own.

"Martin did a couples photoshoot for me and Kate, my partner, in Oxford. I generally find couples shoots a bit awkward, with forced smiles and the accumulating sense that whatever your face is doing is somehow wrong. Martin made it go away in about two minutes. He's patient, easy to be around, and sets a relaxed atmosphere from the start. He talked to us, watched, and didn't rush us. I truly think he has a gift for creating and capturing the seconds you forget you're being photographed. The pictures came back as us, not as two people on a couples photoshoot.
